   In reaction to our “Inspiration Near at Hand” get in touch with for paintings created in artists’ gardens or other own areas, we gained these five pictures from artist, George Van Hook. Although inspiration can be found significantly and broad, numerous of us have located “diamonds in individual backyard”, specifically in the course of the confinement of the pandemic.    George wrote to us, “I ordinarily shell out a good portion of the summer season months painting the determine in the various stunning flower gardens that encircle our property in Upstate New York. We’ve lived listed here for approximately thirty 5 decades, and from the pretty beginning it was our intention to make the bordering landscape a haven  for painting. That, coupled with the delightful existence of our own 3 daughters, and with their many friends, meant that I would under no circumstances deficiency for topics or products!

   I have thoroughly enjoyed the decades of work, and, looking back in excess of the many paintings that I have done listed here, it is a joy to observe the development of both equally the gardens, and the wonderful family members and mates that have supplied me so a lot of hrs of inspiration.”
