Huion Black Friday 2022 Buyer’s Guide & Roundup
Here’s the roundup for Huion pen tablets and pen displays worth getting during the upcoming Black Friday Sale.
I’ve actually reviewed many of the products listed below so feel free to ask me for personal recommendations or any questions in the comments section.
The products list below are arranged according to price range.
Note that just because a product is expensive doesn’t mean it’s better. You should choose one that suits your needs. For example, I won’t buy the 24-inch even if I have the budget because I just don’t have the table space. I prefer 15 to 16 inch pen displays because I can store them in my bookshelf when I’m done drawing.
Up to US $100
My general recommendation for getting pen tablets is to get something that’s at least 10 x 6 inches. This is a large enough size to work with comfortably for long periods of time, and this size pairs well even with monitors up to 27-inches.
My recommendations are the US $67 Huion HS610 (product page | review) or the US $84 Huion H1060P (product page). I prefer the design of the HS610 and it’s also cheaper.
These have good drawing performance and are good even for professional artists.
$100 – $200
Huion Inspiroy Dial 2 Q630M – US $159 (review | product page).
This 10 x 6-inch pen tablet has 2 dial and 6 shortcut buttons and it uses the latest PW517 pen from Huion. This is the probably the best pen tablet from Huion in terms of design, build quality and drawing performance.
If you don’t need two dials and want to save $50, there’s the single dial Huion Inspiroy Dial Q620M (review | product page) priced at US $109.
Huion Giano G930L – US $199 (review | product page)
This is one of the biggest pen tablets in the market measuring 13.6 by 8.5-inches. This pen displays pairs well with huge displays which are quite common nowadays.
$100 – $250
From $200 onwards, we have pen displays.
The Huion Kamvas 12 (review | product page) and Huion Kamvas 13 (review | product page) are priced at US $219 and $239 respectively but are usually lower because they are discounted quite often.
These two pen displays look good, has good colour support and fantastic drawing performance.
For pen displays, I usually recommend getting something that’s at least 13-inches or larger because that’s a more comfortable size to work with and for long periods of time. And $239 is quite a reasonable price for a 13-inch pen display. The next size is 15 or 16-inch and the price jump is quite big unless you don’t mind older models from 2020.
$250 – $400
At this price range, you can consider these options:
Kamvas 16 (2021) is larger but resolution at 1080P compared to the Kamvas Pro 13 which has 2560 x 1600 resolution. I would probably recommend the larger Kamvas 16 (2021) slightly more because larger size is more comfortable to work with. The selling point of Kamvas Pro 13 is the sharper resolution and the aspect ratio is 16:10 which is very rare in the pen display market.
$400 – $600
There are two great products in this price range:
The Kamvas Pro 16 (2.5K) is smaller but has a sharper 2560 x 1440 resolution and USB-C support. The Kamvas 22 Plus is larger but the resolution is 1080P. Both pen displays have fantastic colour support of up to 97% AdobeRGB (measured). I still remember I was wowed by the display quality of the Kamvas 22 Plus when I powered it on for the first time. The colours are so vibrant and it’s also a bright display at 314 nits measured.
$600 onwards
At this price range is where you can find the 24-inch pen displays.
Huion released three 24-inch pen displays in July 2021. They are the Kamvas 24 (QHD), Kamvas 24 Plus (QHD) and Kamvas Pro 24 (4K). These models are updates to the Huion Kamvas Pro 24 (QHD) released in 2020.
Below’s the comparison table between the four models.

Let me repeat what I wrote in my review for the Kamvas Pro 24 (4K)
Kamvas Pro 24 (4K) has fold-out legs but does not come with a stand so you’ll have to buy your own. You can consider the Huion ST100 stand (US $49) or the Huion ST410 single arm display mount ($119) or Huion ST420 dual arm display mount ($199). If you choose to buy the stands or monitor arms together with the pen display, you can get discounts from $20 to $60.
Kamvas 24 Plus is the best deal in my opinion. It has a laminated display, matte glass, good colour accuracy possibly matching Kamvas Pro 24 (4K), comes with a stand and is priced at US $899 which is $400 cheaper than the 4K model. Even if you get the 4K model, chances are you’ll use the 1440P scaling. So both Kamvas 24 Plus and Kamvas Pro 24 (4K) are using 1440P workspace and the only difference is the 4K has sharper visuals. 1440P resolution even if it has slight pixelation is still a good resolution to work with. If you don’t mind that slight pixelation, you get to save at least $400.

You can find all these products on Huion online store.
Here’s my summarised recommendation:
If you’re a beginner with limited budget, consider the $239 Kamvas 13.
If you have more budget, the $399 Kamavs 16 (2021) will probably get my vote.
And if you want to spend more, it’s a toss up between the $599 Kamvas Pro 16 (2.5K) and $549 Kamvas 22 Plus.
If you want something big, the $899 Kamvas 24 Plus with 1440P resolution gets my vote. If you want the biggest and the highest resolution pen display, that’s the $1299 Huion Kamvas Pro 24 (4K).
