It’s also not a common scene for Jakub Różalski aka Mr. Werewolf, who famously established his mech-laden 1920+ universe amid frosty forests and muddy fields. This time on the other hand, he agreed to sign up for a Constrained Version challenge that took his art all the way to sunbathed historical Egypt. 

Here’s how we persuaded Mr. Werewolf to enter the sandstorm and deal with the Untrue Gods. 

The scarab leads the way

It is not often you see Jakub Rożalski stepping outside his alternate-background-slash-dim-fairy-tales comfort and ease zone. Turns out what did the trick was the chance to set the timer even further again than 1920. 

What obtained you to accept our Confined Edition give?

Generally I do not do commissioned or collaborative projects that are not instantly related to the worlds and IPs I’ve made. This time having said that, I couldn’t say no. I preferred it to loosely tell a story of the rebellious believers of the aged gods taking their final stand from the invaders who arrived from heaven and named them selves New Gods.
