Wild Things Are Happening: The Art of Maurice Sendak opens to the public on Friday, October 21 and is on look at until March 5, 2023.

Wild Matters Are Happening: The Art of Maurice Sendak will be the initially key retrospective of Sendak because his loss of life in 2012, and the premier and most full exhibition of just one of the most celebrated and primary artists of our time. The exhibition is arranged by the Columbus Museum of Artwork in conjunction with The Maurice Sendak Basis.
The exhibition is comprised of more than 150 sketches, storyboards, and paintings by Sendak drawn from the collection of The Maurice Sendak Basis. Highlights include things like primary perform for Sendak’s most famed guides: Where the Wild Issues Are, In the Night Kitchen, and Outside the house Over There. Sendak was affected by writers ranging from William Shakespeare to Herman Melville.
